The Birmingham Shopping District Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Executive Director.  At a special meeting on March 29th, Ingrid Tighe was unanimously appointed by the Board to serve as Executive Director beginning April 17, 2017.  Ms. Tighe’s experience as a Business Development Manager for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, as CEO of the Clifton Park, NY Development Authority and commercial real estate experience with Hines Interests Limited Partnership, in combination with her Master’s Degree in Public Administration, are sure to be invaluable in serving the Birmingham Shopping District.

Ms. Tighe has demonstrated strong abilities in attracting and promoting business growth in stimulating economic development, in addition to strong leadership and project management abilities. Ms. Tighe lives in Birmingham with her family and brings much excitement for this new opportunity.  We look forward to having her join our team in serving the businesses of Downtown Birmingham!
