BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP PUBLIC LIBRARY ANNOUNCES SHADES OF BLUES IN AMERICA CONCERT

Bloomfield Township, MI—July 19, 2018

The Blues is second to none for its influence on American music; Rock & roll, country, jazz, soul, and Motown.  Master guitar player Joey Leone and his band take the audience on a journey from pre-war Delta Blues, up Highway 61 through Memphis, St. Louis and Chicago, then to the west on Route 66 to California, and back to the south to Texas & Louisiana.

Join us on Friday, July 27 at 7 p.m. at the Bloomfield Township Public Library for a fun and informative presentation of great American music brought to you by one of the most passionate and gifted artists on the touring scene today.  Joey also adds entertaining anecdotes and stories from his personal experiences performing on stage with several blues legends including Otis Rush, Wilson Pickett, Etta James and Chaka Khan.

All are welcome to attend this free concert and no registration required.  The Library is located at 1099 Lone Pine Road, (at Telegraph Road), Bloomfield Township, MI, 48302.
