2025 Birmingham-Bloomfield Chamber Foundation Scholarship Program

The Birmingham-Bloomfield Chamber Foundation plans to award several scholarships
to seniors graduating this spring from any Birmingham or Bloomfield high school and
pursuing postsecondary studies. Up to four, $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to
students planning to continue their education toward all career paths at a two-year
college, four-year college or accredited trade school in the state of Michigan.
Eligible high school seniors must graduate in 2025 from a qualifying high school (public
or private) and whose parent is an employee of a Birmingham-Bloomfield Chamber
member business.
Adult employees of a Birmingham-Bloomfield Chamber member business planning to
continue their studies also are eligible for the scholarship. Winners will be notified in late
spring 2025.
This is an annual scholarship program authorized by the Birmingham-Bloomfield
Chamber’s Board of Directors, funded by donations and proceeds from Chamber
programming. The award will be sent directly to the school of the scholarship recipient’s
choice upon complete student enrollment in that institution.
Applicants must complete the attached application and submit a 500-word essay for
consideration of the scholarship. No interviews are planned. The Birmingham-
Bloomfield Chamber’s Scholarship Committee will review applications and essays as
part of the selection process.
Scholarship winners must utilize the award during the 2025-26 school year. Failure to
use the scholarship in a timely fashion will result in forfeiture of the award. These
scholarships are open to full-time and part-time students. Financial need will not be a
factor in the selection process.
