VIBE CREDIT UNION’S SEARCH FOR THEIR BIGGEST FAN UNCOVERS AN UNEXPECTED GIFT
Vibe Credit Union’s 80th birthday festivities included searching for their Biggest Fan. It began April 1 with a simple request: “Share what you love about banking with us.” The response was overwhelming with over 1,600 heartfelt stories that went far beyond expectations.
Several submissions spoke of consistently great rates, amazing customer service, convenience, and cutting-edge technology. Many more, however, shared personal experiences, spanning decades, of kindness, comfort, and compassion given to them by Vibe employees.
President/CEO Tom Reagan said, “The banking industry is very competitive and Vibe is continually striving to provide a truly unique experience that meets or exceeds the needs of our members. It is easy, in business, to get caught up in products, pricing, and other tangibles. What is really most important, the foundation of what we do, is the relationship. I am so proud of the relationships we have with our members and honored that they took the time to share their stories.”
On June 1, four of Vibe’s Biggest Fans were randomly selected to receive cash gifts of $1,080, $580, $180, and $80. Tyler Ross, Chief Marketing Officer shared, “When our team began reading the comments, we were simply blown away. Sometimes you reach out and get back so much more than expected. The personal stories shared, warmed our hearts. Some even brought tears to our eyes.”
