BBCHAMBER HOSTING GOVERNMENT FORECAST BREAKFAST

Birmingham, Mich. – The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber will host its annual Government Forecast Breakfast on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. The event will take place at The Iroquois Club at 43248 N. Woodward Ave. Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302. This is the third event in the Chamber’s 2022 Forecast Series which included an Economic and Real Estate Forecast.

Featured Speakers are State Budget Office Director, Chris Harkins, and Michigan’s State Treasurer Rachael Eubanks. This event will also be moderated by Delbert J. Chenault, Director of Governmental Affairs at Clark Hill.

Members and guests will learn top budget priorities for the coming years, new initiatives called for in the budget, and what is seen as the greatest challenges/threats to our state’s fiscal stability.

“This will be an important discussion because we all know that fiscal budgets dictate what gets done from a state level,” said Chamber President Joe Bauman. “Be it infrastructure repairs, supporting small business or protecting our precious natural resources, if funds are not in the budget to do these things, they won’t get done. We anticipate our speakers will address funding priorities not only for the coming year, but well into the future as well.”

This event will be held at The Iroquois Club in Bloomfield Hills from 8-9:30 a.m. Tickets are $40 for BBChamber Members and $49 for non-members and includes a full plated breakfast. Reservations are required and can be made at www.bbcc.com.

Sponsors for the Government Forecast Breakfast include Clark Hill, Bank of Ann Arbor, Mercantile Bank, Fenner Melstrom & Dooling, PLC, Comcast, and The Birmingham Shopping District.

The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber is a membership organization dedicated to promoting economic development, strengthen the business climate and improve the quality of life in the six communities it serves – Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township and Franklin.
