BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP PUBLIC LIBRARY ANNOUNCES SENSEATIONAL STORY TIME

Bloomfield Township, MI – February 1, 2018

Bloomfield Township Public Library will be hosting a multisensory story time for differently-abled children on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 11:00 am.  The event has been developed for children aged three to ten years, who are on the autism spectrum, have developmental delays, difficulty with large groups or other special needs.  Visuals; simple, interactive stories; adaptive movement and sensory activities will be employed to engage participants through their natural human senses.  Youth Services Librarian, Jen Taggart, advises, “These activities are also great for English Language Learners.”

The fun-filled session will run approximately 45 minutes.  Siblings are welcome to attend, as are non-residents.
