BLOOMFIELD WINTER PARK CELEBRATES THEIR GRAND OPENING AT BLOOMFIELD HILLS SCHOOLS’ BOWERS FARM

Saturday, January 19, was a perfect day for the Grand Opening of Bloomfield Winter Park at the Bloomfield Hills Schools’ Bowers Farm. The snow was swirling, the ice was fast, the cocoa was delicious (especially when topped with whipped cream and sprinkles), and the atmosphere was festive.

The day included a VIP reception with music performed by Lone Pine School teachers. The BHHS high school radio station, The Biff was on hand to broadcast the event. The cast of the Bloomfield Players stopped by for a special musical performance of their upcoming production, The Little Mermaid. After everyone gathered outside for a ribbon cutting, families spent the day skating, sledding, and warming by the bonfires.

The BWP is open Saturdays and Sundays through February 10, 2019. Check out the schedule of activities at www.bloomfield.org/schools/charles-l-bowers-school-farm/winter-park.
