HAVEN, Oakland County’s only comprehensive program for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, is pleased to present its “Hero Gala” fundraiser. HAVEN supporters are invited to the Troy Marriott on Friday May 5, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the stories of true heroes: survivors of domestic violence and those who empower them. The event will raise critical funds for services and programs to support survivors and provide community education.

Fine food, drinks and company will be in abundance at this enjoyable event that incorporates a seated dinner, program emceed by WXYZ Channel 7 anchor Glenda Lewis, survivor stories, silent and live auctions, live entertainment by Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit and an Afterglow party.
In addition, HAVEN will present Heart of HAVEN Awards to Sarah L. McClelland, chief operating officer, Invest Detroit and HAVEN Capital Campaign co-chair and to Brad Simmons, director, community outreach, Ford Motor Company and HAVEN Capital Campaign co-chair. The Gala will be held at the Detroit Troy Marriott located at 200 West Big Beaver Road, Troy, Michigan 48084.
