Kasha Kowal and her husband Richard Kowal, recently opened Fratelli Leather in downtown Birmingham.  Kasha, a fashion designer and Richard, an interior designer, have owned Fratelli Leather boutiques in Italy and Poland since 1996.

The boutique carries leather apparel, shoes, bags, briefcases, luggage and accessories for men and women.   They carry such labels as Valentino, Carbotti, Franko Armondi and Laura Biagotti.

Fratelli Leather recently celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting, which was hosted by the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber.  The boutique is located at 303 E.
