Streetside Seafood is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month. Streetside, located on Pierce Street in downtown Birmingham, is part of the Roberts Restaurant Group. The restaurant offers a variety of seafood selections, an award-winning wine list and a full bar.

Prior to becoming Streetside Seafood, the storefront was Richard & Reiss, a small cafeteria-style cafe that served muffins, croissants, espresso and cappuccino each morning. Bill Roberts, proprietor of RRG, purchased Richard & Reiss in the fall of 1983.
