BIRMINGHAM, Mich., August 23, 2016 – The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber’s 13th annual fundraiser, Vine & Dine, to benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills.

Vine & Dine offers guests an outstanding selection of domestic and imported wines, a strolling buffet featuring the finest restaurants, a chance auction and musical entertainment. Back by popular demand, director of Nuclassica, violinist and Cranbrook graduate Jordan Allen Broder will provide entertainment for the evening, offering an eclectic mix of modern music played on classical instruments paired with a live disc jockey.

Consistently a sell-out event, Vine & Dine has become the new tradition for wine and food aficionados. Tickets are $85 per person in advance, with special pricing available for bulk tickets of 12 or more. Complimentary valet will be included and guests are encouraged to dress to impress.

“The success of the event is unquestionably accredited to the restaurants and wine distributers who participate, along with the generous donations of auction items from local businesses,” said Joe Bauman, President of Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber. The chance auction contains items such as cocktails and appetizers for up to 16 people at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Winebar paired with a Backstage Pass at Cranbrook Institute of Science. The Backstage Pass is a tour of Cranbook Institute of Science with Director Michael Stafford of artifacts not often seen by the public. Other auction packages include two Delta airline tickets for a domestic flight, “Best of Birmingham,”  “Best of Detroit” packages and an overnight stay at the extravagant Townsend Hotel.
