Action Groups are more intimate referral groups that can help your business grow and are an exclusive FREE benefit for all Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber Members. Action groups are commonly referred to as a referral group such as Business Network International (BNI), BNI Michigan, Michigan Referral Group, Business Referral Group (BNG), Referral Networking Groups (RNG).
All groups meet bimonthly and each have different meeting days, times, and locations to fit different needs! Action Groups are industry-exclusive, meaning only one representative from any industry/business category can be in each group. In addition, each business or non-profit can have only one of their employees in an Action Group. Please contact the group leader (see below) to find out if there is an opening for your industry or a waiting list.
Attendance Policy for Action Groups:
Total Meetings Each Year = 24
Allowed Absences = 6 (not more than 3 in a row)
If you miss 3 meetings in a row, you will be dropped from your Action Group, so other Chamber Members can join. This is a business networking group and the attendance policy is designed to help Members’ grow their businesses.
