This morning, BBChamber Members and guests had the pleasure of gathering at Michigan United Credit Union for a delightful networking event over coffee and donuts. It was an excellent opportunity for professionals to come together and grow their networks. We are grateful to Michigan United Credit Union for hosting us. 19th Annual Vine & Dine

We are thrilled to announce that the 19th Annual Vine & Dine fundraiser was a huge success! We want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended, including our vendors, committee members, and sponsors. We are especially grateful to our partner, Gleaners, for their support of this amazing event. Thank you to our vendors who provided delicious food and drink options for our attendees. The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber and the Pontiac Regional Chamber were excited to host a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Montessori School Rochester‘s newest location in Pontiac on Thursday, August 24.

Birmingham Public Schools hosted us at the Birmingham Public Schools building where Dr. Embekka Roberson, Superintendent of Birmingham Public Schools and Dr. Randy Liepa, Interim Superintendent of Bloomfield Hills Schools gave insight into the upcoming school year.  The event was moderated by Kelly Bennett, Marketing & Events Manager of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber and sponsored by Michigan United Credit Union and Oakland Community College.

The Chamber’s monthly Member Coffee was held at the Shelter at Springdale Park today, where attendees were treated to coffee and breakfast foods provided by event sponsor RE/MAX Commercial Connection, Ellen Mahoney. During the event, the Chamber presented a check for $17,700 to our Non-Profit Network organizations who volunteered to assist with the recent Village Fair. We are grateful to our Non-Profit Network for their dedication and hard work, and we are proud to support their important contributions to our community. Thank you to everyone who attended our July Member Coffee and helped make it a success.

Diversity Expo

We would like to thank everyone who joined us yesterday at the Diversity Expo held at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. It was a pleasure to see so many of our members come together to celebrate and embrace diversity in our community.

Business After Hours “Back to Business” Mixer at Zao Jun

January 12, 2023

Dozens of Chamber Members and guests enjoyed appetizers and networking at our “Back to Business” mixer signaling the Chamber’s return to events after the holiday break.  Zao Jun hosted us with incredible food offerings and cocktails.  A great time was had, business relationships were strengthened and many new connections were made.

We held our final Member Coffee of the year at Michigan United Credit Union’s Birmingham branch. Dozens of members gathered for informal networking and coffee.

Annual Holiday Mixer

The Chamber held their annual Holiday Mixer on Thursday, December 8 at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center. Guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks while able to peruse incredible works of art as well as shop in the art center’s holiday shop. 75th Annual Meeting

The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber celebrated a significant 75 years at their Annual Meeting on Thursday, December 1. During the event, new and retiring board members were recognized and the Chamber presented two awards. Chamber Member Brian Mutter of Forward Mortgage was selected as the Ambassador of the Year and Marx Layne & Company was presented with the THRIVE Award. The Thrive Award is given to a company that is notable for it’s contribution to the community. The breakfast event was held at The Community House.

Legislative Reception

On Tuesday, November 29, we were joined by many local legislators for our Legislative Reception at The Townsend Hotel. It was wonderful to get to know community leaders.
