The Chamber’s monthly Member Coffee was held at the Shelter at Springdale Park today, where attendees were treated to coffee and breakfast foods provided by event sponsor RE/MAX Commercial Connection, Ellen Mahoney. During the event, the Chamber presented a check for $17,700 to our Non-Profit Network organizations who volunteered to assist with the recent Village Fair. We are grateful to our Non-Profit Network for their dedication and hard work, and we are proud to support their important contributions to our community. Thank you to everyone who attended our July Member Coffee and helped make it a success.

Diversity Expo

Dozens of Chamber Members and guests enjoyed appetizers and networking at our “Back to Business” mixer signaling the Chamber’s return to events after the holiday break.  Zao Jun hosted us with incredible food offerings and cocktails.  A great time was had, business relationships were strengthened and many new connections were made.

Annual Holiday Mixer

The Chamber held their annual Holiday Mixer on Thursday, December 8 at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center. 75th Annual Meeting

The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber celebrated a significant 75 years at their Annual Meeting on Thursday, December 1. During the event, new and retiring board members were recognized and the Chamber presented two awards. Chamber Member Brian Mutter of Forward Mortgage was selected as the Ambassador of the Year and Marx Layne & Company was presented with the THRIVE Award. The Thrive Award is given to a company that is notable for it’s contribution to the community. The breakfast event was held at The Community House.

Legislative Reception

On Tuesday, November 29, we were joined by many local legislators for our Legislative Reception at The Townsend Hotel. It was wonderful to get to know community leaders.

Annual Meeting

The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber hosted the 72nd Annual Meeting on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Bloomfield Hills.  The THRIVE Award was presented to Consumers Energy and accepted by Lauren Royston, Consumers Energy Community Affairs Manager.  Our 2019 Ambassador of the Year is Andy Roisman.  The Chamber presented outgoing BBChamber Board Members Jordan Bolton, Kelly Lewis, and Robert Pliska with plaques of recognition for their service.  Photos by Doug Ashley

Kim Eberhardt, Account Director at Identity PR, presented our members with 2020 Communications Strategies at this morning’s Professional Edge Workshop sponsored by DFCU Financial and hosted by Birmingham Public Schools.
